RECOGNISE @ THE 2014 AFL INDIGENOUS ROUND.

With the AFL 2014 Indigenous Round set for the end of May, we worked with our friends over at RECOGNISE to develop and implement an integrated marketing campaign promoting the recognition of Australia’s first peoples in the Australian Constitution.

Red Bean worked with RECOGNISE to create digital and print media assets to be used across the RECOGNISE website, mobile site and social media platforms as well as the AFL website, the AFL ‘RECORD’ magazine and the Telstra online digital network.

Red Bean held activations at AFL games in all states across Australia with Brand Ambassadors engaging with the general public signing-up thousands of new supporters.

The campaign resulted in a significant uplift of the RECOGNISE supporter base and digital audience across a 2 week period.

Over duration of 2 weeks

 – > 5000 new Facebook Likes

– 345 new twitter followers

– Supporter numbers increased by approx. 10,500. From 193,000 before the Indigenous Round to over 203,500

– Steady increase in website visitors, peaking at 4045 sessions in one day
