Women in Media.

Red Bean Republic helped launch Women in Media (WiM), a networking and mentoring initiative supported by the Media Entertainment & Arts Alliance (MEAA) and The Walkley Foundation for Journalism. WiM aims to increase networking opportunities for women working in media, improve workforce outcomes and provide valuable mentoring from senior industry leaders for younger and mid-career women.

Red Bean worked closely with stakeholders including high-profile female journalists Tracey Spicer and Patron of Women in Media Caroline Jones, to create the WiM brand identity, a responsive website, social media channels and a launch video.

In the first 72 hours of launch 

the website received over 6,000 views

attracted 250 twitter followers

sold 110 tickets to the launch event

attracted 60 volunteers

received 15 completed mentoring applications
