A Letter from The Hon Jenny Macklin MP – Minister for Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs
“I am writing to thank you and the staff at Red Bean Republic for the contribution you have made towards building the momentum for Constitutional Recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
In particular, I acknowledge the considerable work that has gone into designing, creating and building the youmeunity website in a very short space of time to support the Expert Panel on Indigenous Constitutional Recognition , and in maintaining it so as to maximise its useability and attractiveness to new supporters.
I am aware that the collaborative and collegiate approach of Red Bean has contributed to highly effective outcomes for the website. Your creative solutions have ensured that Reconciliation Australia has a solid base of supporters online upon which to build greater public awareness and support. This will be critical in building the community mood for change.”
